XCom 2 does not generate the normal save location. I’ve tried reinstalling, I’ve tried manually creating the folders, I’ve made sure that both the XCom 2, Xcom 2 launcher, and XCom 2 War of the Chosen are allowed through my firewall + antivirus, and still haven’t solved the issue.

First of all, thanks to the OP. I also got a corrupted save during the last mission of my Ironman campaign. Just want to add here, that if you Stop Replay and save your game, and then reload it from a normal XCOM 2 launch, you can see your troops and don’t have to play blind.
